Certification Note - All simulators contain certification eligibility based on existing TRC devices and builds. However, any desired level of certification is achievable through a custom build with little difference in price when compared to an existing build. Cessna 172 |
The TRC C172 system is an exact replica of the Cessna 172 cockpit with all inside dimensions matching those of your C172 training aircraft on the flight line. In terms of realism, this makes the C172 flight simulator not only a perfect flight training device, but also an optimal systems and emergency procedures training aid. When entering the simulator, the student will feel like they are stepping into an actual aircraft with all of the instruments, knobs and controls in the same location as the actual aircraft. These controls can even be configured to match your airplane, whether analog, glass or even modular if needed to match interchangeably with more than one configuration. With excellent visuals for proper sight picture and even a full motion version for greater realism, our C172 training system will give your flight school the edge in the market.

The TRC C172 Full Motion Flight Simulator comes as a complete package, so you are ready to start educating your students immediately. Everything is included in this 6DOF Full Motion system, from an incredible 7 channel (65 inch, 4K per channel) High Resolution visual system for an immersive view directly from your flight deck, to an instructor station desk, including Jetstream software to keep track of the progress of your students.
The TRC 172 Flight Simulator cabin looks and feels like an actual aircraft. All dimensions, including the location of the instruments on the panel, are exactly like a real Cessna 172. The 270 degrees field of view visual system with seven 65 inch 4K monitors creates an incredible immersive view. While the TRC 172 comes with this seven channel visual system, the setup is still very compact. The instructor station desk, including 2 monitors will give you full control of the TRC 172 Flight Simulator. You can control the aircraft, the weather, the position of the aircraft, engine failures and much more. It is also possible to keep track of the progress of your students using our own instructor software (TRC JetStream) that is included in the package. The TRC 172 Flight Simulator comes with a high-end computer system to run the flight simulator software. The system is built with the latest specification processor, graphic card, memory and solid state drive. Each visual channel had a dedicated image generating computer system. In addition to the standard instructor station JetStream software, the system also comes with our own instructor software to keep track of the progress of your students. The 6DOF Motion Platform will give your students the most spectacular and immersive training experience available for general aviation. The TRC Simulators model TRC C172 is based on the dimensions and layout of a Cessna 172 production single engine aircraft. This closely represents the overall functionality, performance, avionics, and instrumentation of the actual aircraft. The platform consists of a flight deck section with motion, instructor control station, visual display system and an audio system. It incorporates a combination of hardware and software components that are assembled and checked by TRC America. All hardware elements are permanently installed and designed so the flight deck has the appearance and feel of an actual aircraft. From the pilot’s seated position, there are no computer hardware elements such as keyboards, pointing devices, etc. for their use. The TRC C172 provides realistic and true-to-scale flight deck design, avionics, and reliable hardware/software performance. This platform also provides an effective training environment for students and certificated pilots. This includes the capability of practicing scenario-based flight training events, simulated equipment failure, emergency procedures, pilot evaluations, instrument procedures/ experience, and facilitating increased pilot proficiency overall. Easy to place anywhere Because of the compact size of the TRC C172 flight simulator, it will fit in any standard office environment and there is no need for a special air conditioning system, as the complete system has a relatively low power consumption. One 110/220v power socket will suffice for the complete system. You do not need to change your electrical infrastructure in order to accommodate the TRC C172. Control Loaded Dual Yoke and Dual Rudder Pedals High fidelity control loaded dual yoke and dual rudder pedals system are used for the most realistic flight experience. Simulated effects include the engine, ground, turbulence, real trim, autopilot, stall, and more. Real-time synchronization logic for dual-pilot flight deck with automatic pilot/co-pilot take-over is also included. Optional Integrated Instructor Station Hub Upgrade: The TRC C172 Flight Simulator system comes including an instructor station desk. However, this instructor station desk is placed outside the enclosure of the motion system. To have a better view of your student’s progress, it is possible to upgrade the TRC C172 Flight Simulator system with an integrated instructor station hub behind the pilot seats within the enclosure. To be able to bear the extra weight of this integrated instructor station hub, a larger motion platform will also be added. The payload of this motion platform is 1500 kilograms (3306.934 pounds). The TRC C172 resembles the inside of a Cessna 172 with extremely high accuracy. All inside measurements are exactly the same as in a real Cessna 172. This makes the TRC C172 flight simulator not only a perfect training device, but also the best procedure training aid available. When entering the TRC C172 flight simulator, the student will step into an actual aircraft replica, with all instruments, knobs and controls on the location where you would find them in the actual aircraft. The resemblance between the real aircraft and the TRC C172 is so striking, that you can hardly tell the difference between the both of them. Instead of making use of LCD screens to project the instruments behind holes in a panel, the TRC C172 flight simulator contains real instruments that behave and can be controlled exactly like in the real aircraft. The TRC C172 flight simulator system teaches the student to operate an aircraft, rather than a flight simulator.
The TRC C172 Fixed Base Flight Simulator comes as a complete package, so you are ready to start educating your students.
